We are so thankful to so many people who have shared our dream, our highs and our lows on the journey. There are just too many to mention them all, but the Lord knows who you are and sees all your heart for serving our community. On behalf of the office staff, we would like to thank each and every one of you who has been a part of our Fidelis Family. God bless you all!
Every year, we like to remind our community to be on the look out for seniors who do not have adequate cooling in their homes. With so many living on fixed incomes, often air conditioning repairs are not feasible and some seniors will even refuse to run the A/C in order to save money. Sadly, many folks don't know that organizations like Meals on Wheels offer fans and distribute donated window units. Also, most electric companies will offer discounted services to seniors in need. If you know a senior who needs help keeping cool this summer, give us a call! Fidelis strives to be a resource to our community, not just our clients!
It's not every day that you get the opportunity to visit with one of the best of the "greatest generation." While you would never know it, my friend Truman was among the brave Marines who stormed the beaches of Iwo Jima in 1945. Truman was honored at a local park where a service stone bearing his name was laid next the names of many others who have served. As a Marine myself, I was proud to stand with a real hero and thank him for his service and sacrifice.
SEMPER FIDELIS Truman!

Yesterday we mourned the passing of one of the greatest _______________ of our time. That blank could be filled in with so many words. For me, it would be "role model." I was blessed to meet Zig as a kid and because my Dad worked for him for a few years, I grew up surrounded by the philosophies and stories he was known for...and lived by. What an amazing thought to think of the countless millions of lives he touched!
Zig didn't write his first book until he was 47 years old! He literally did more and influenced more people in the 2nd half of his life than most people could do in 10 lifetimes. Do you have a favorite Zig saying or story?
I love this image! It reminds us that so many of our seniors are full of the life, energy, and wonder of a child!
